Frozen Tears III

$40.00

Frozen Tears III is an experimental prose text about love, loss and the phantasmatic inspired by Giorgio Agamben’s Stanzas: Word and Phantasm in Western Culture (1992) and modelled on Dostoevsky’s Underground Man. Staged as an expanded artwork FROZEN TEARS (since 2003) is a MULTI-PART, MULTI-VENUE project built around the production of three 800+ page books each containing THEORY/HORROR texts and images from a range of CELEBRATED international artists/writers. MORPH-FUCKING the INTRADISTINCTION between VISUAL and the LINGUISTIC as both FAUX-READYMADE/COMMODITY and also ADDED performative and critical EXPLORATION of the possibilities of self-institutionalisation and the FICTIONING of the artwork as social interstice.
